Christie Digital Systems / Phoenix Node / Green LED Status
Issues:
- Green Led Status (Not indicated in the service manual)
- No Display on the video wall. (Frozen or No Connection)
Possible Causes:
- Disconnected to the controller.
- Network Configuration issue.
- Faulty Unit
Experiences:
DEWA Site Visit - Nodes display a green LED status. upon using the controller manager, the nodes doesn't appear at the software. checking the nodes from the WEB UI indicates that the nodes is disconnected to the controller.
EMAAR Site Visit - Node 20 is reported showing a green LED status. During the site visit, node 4 displayed the same LED status. there are some technical issue experience from the switch ( Multicast not configured). upon using the controller manager, the nodes doesn't appear at the software. checking the nodes from the WEB UI indicates that the nodes is disconnected to the controller. node 20 can't be ping using a network cable and while connected to the switch.
Resolution:
Check the splash screen of the display wall, it will indicate the node status and if it is multicast configure.
Check the controller manager for every nodes present in the switch, IP addresses and their roles. ( Master & Slaves)
Check the status of the nodes and their connectivity to the controller by using the WEB UI.
Check the Firmware version of the nodes. (Update if necessary)
Try rebooting the wall using the WEB UI.
Manually reboot the node by switching it on/off.
By using a network cable, check the network configuration of the node. try pinging the node and check the network configuration.
If problem persist. replace the faulty phoenix node.
