Phoenix Node / Backchannel Sync Error

Christie Digital Systems / Phoenix Node / Backchannel Sync Error

Issue:
Individual screens of display wall flashing from content to black

Troubleshooting:
- Check backchannel sync connector lights as per user manual
- Check backchannel sync cabling
- Identify which node is causing the sync sync issue by rebuilding wall one node at a time. The issue will appear when the node is added to the wall.

Resolution:
Replace Node

**Workaround:
- If the issue is being caused by the backchannel sync, then enter the Web UI > Wall > Edit Wall, and select "none" or "network" sync instead of backchannel. This should stabilize the display, but note there may be some image tearing when using no sync, or delay when using network sync
- Alternatively, re-cable the backchannel sync so that the node causing the fault is bypassed
